Kindle Comic

Okay I'm super in love with technology, but even I just love to enjoy a good old fashion paper book sometimes! And the guy in that commercial always comes off as rude and pushy, he totally interrupts that girl reading her book just so he can brag ^_~ So I thought I'd point out one of the flaws of an e-reader.
When the e-reader's battery is dead. The person with the book will still be reading!

And now I'll have to continue my quest to acquire an e-reader! (Please note, this is really a sketch)

Bri's Room - Recolor

Sometimes it's just time to admit when you are wrong, and when it came to Bri's room, it was time.
The more I looked at her Room... The more I thought those colors are NOT Bri's room... they aren't dark enough or bright enough for the colors I have going, AND why would Bri have an almost pink room?
:D So I went through and redid um. I'm going to try texturing them later :D Yay!

Cooper's Mom

Meet Cooper's Mom! International-Super-Pop-Star Angela Starrz! She and her Soap-Opera-Star Husband Brett Starrz adopted Cooper has a baby, along with his 4 siblings. While Brett & Angela love their kids, they are always busy with concerts and filming, and often leave the kids to their Nanny. Cooper is the oldest, and often plays parent for his younger siblings.

I'm trying to design one new character for this series every other day or so :)

Emma's Sister: Ada

Emma isn't quiet and timid without reason, and her reason is named Ada. Ada is Emma's older sister, she's the prettiest girl in her school, and extremely popular. She wants to become a model and then host her own talk show. Ada is extremely hard on Emma. She's bossy, and has fun making Emma miserable, but if she ever saw somebody else picking on Emma she'd take up the person on it (in secret when nobody was looking); She's the only one allowed to torture her little sister. Emma and Ada are secretly jealous of each other, but don't expect to eve hear either of them admit it!

Bri's Dad

Bri's (from the previous post) Father :) Just finished the character design for Bri's Dad.

"Brianna (Called Bri), she's a bit of a reckless tom boy. She is the type that would go into the creepy abandoned house just because somebody told her it was haunted. Her Dad is a chef who wants to come up with the next big thing, but generally comes up with weird foods that gross people out. She likes to eat strange foods (the stranger the better) because of this. Her favorite food is an invention of her Dad's (cricket-burgers). She became best friends with Emma (the second girl) when she saw Emma being bullied. She initially scares Emma but wins her over as a friend."

Monster Hunters

So I love designing characters in all kinds of styles, so I came up with this concept of a group of monster hunting friends based on a mix between Danny Phantom Style and Kim Possible. :D

The first is Brianna (Called Bri), she's a bit of a reckless tom boy. She is the type that would go into the creepy abandoned house just because somebody told her it was haunted. Her Dad is a chef who wants to come up with the next big thing, but generally comes up with weird foods that gross people out. She likes to eat strange foods (the stranger the better) because of this. Her favorite food is an invention of her Dad's (cricket-burgers). She became best friends with Emma (the second girl) when she saw Emma being bullied. She initially scares Emma but wins her over as a friend.

The second is Emma (Called Em by her friends). She is almost Bri's opposite, they balance each other out. Where Bri gets herself into trouble, Em keeps Bri from doing anything too dangerous and causes her to stop and think before jumping into things. Bri keeps Em from hiding in her house all the time. Em is timid, and smart, and likes tech stuff. Her favorite food is nachos and anything spicy... But she is terrified of the things that Bri's Dad cooks.

The third character is Cooper. Cooper likes playing the too cool for school/slacker but in reality is a very motivated kid, only Emma gets better grades in their school then Cooper. He and Emma have been neighbors since they were young, though not friends. Emma recognizes Cooper's 'slacker' bit is an act, and is scornful of it. Cooper thinks Emma is a total wuss. Because both end up friends with Bri, they eventually come to be friends. Cooper loves junk food, potato chips, pizza, and anything that he believes will help promote his slack routine. He is also terrified of Bri's Dad's cooking. (Along with Emma and... most people really).

Well that's what I have of these characters so far. Subject to change LOL

My Thesis Animation

My Thesis Animation which I have been working extremely hard on :) Currently unfinished but it's coming along nicely for a 2 minute + Animation.
I've done everything for this animation including the written Story, Animatic/Storyboard, Background and Character Design, Illustration, Animation, even the Music. The entire time I've been advised and helped by some amazing people. Some include Brad Yarhouse, Bill Fischer, Susan Bonner, Mike Dollar, Alisa Bradish, Desiree Bradish, nearly every one of my classmates at school (sorry there are too many to name you all!). I've also had the pleasure of showing this piece to, and having it critiqued Don Hahn (the Producer of The Lion King, and Beauty and the Beast among other things he's worked on), James Surer (Storyboard artist for shows like Kung Fu Panda, and the movie Despicable Me), and Ray Pointer (who worked on shows such as Catdog, My Life as a Teenage Robot, and Tom & Jerry the Movie). I feel honored to have had so much help and input on it by so many people. I know without all my teachers, classmates, friends, and the critiques of the visiting artists, I would not have been able to make this what it is right now :)

Tori and the Dragon

So I'm working on sketches and fully drawn samples to submit for greeting cards/as samples for illustration jobs. Here's one I just finished, this is a character I designed called Tori and her pet Dragon.
